Participation Rules

  • All participants must be between 6 and 50+ years of age at the time of registration.
  • Participants must provide truthful and accurate information in their registration form.
  • A minimum of 15 consecutive days of happiness volunteering activity must be logged on the Ellipsis of Happiness platform prior to auditioning.
  • Participants must submit a 1–2 minute introduction video in Hindi or English.
  • All uploaded media (photos and videos) must be original, non-copyrighted, and appropriate for a family audience.
  • Participation is open to all genders, backgrounds, and walks of life.
  • Parental/guardian written consent is mandatory for all participants under 18 years of age.

Conduct & Code of Ethics

  • All participants, volunteers, and guests must treat each other with respect and dignity at all times.
  • Any form of bullying, harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Participants represent the values of joy, positivity, and community well-being — conduct must reflect these values at all stages of the event.
  • Misrepresentation of community service activities or falsification of Happiness Passport data will result in disqualification.
  • Any social media activity related to the event must be positive, accurate, and respectful.

Media & Intellectual Property

  • The Ellipsis of Happiness Foundation reserves the right to use photographs and videos of participants for promotional and media purposes.
  • By registering, participants grant the Foundation a non-exclusive licence to use their submitted photos, videos, and name for event-related promotion.
  • Participants may not use the Mr. & Miss Happiness™ trademark or event branding without prior written consent from the Foundation.

Disqualification

  • Participants may be disqualified for: providing false information, violating the code of conduct, failing to meet minimum eligibility criteria, or withdrawing without prior notice during the final stages.
  • The Foundation's decisions regarding disqualification are final and binding.
